All Orders Have Been Processed!

Hello Dark Symmetry Backers,
We hope that your 2025 is off to a great start! I wanted to take a moment to follow up on how we're doing working through the final international orders on the campaign.
Originally, my goal was to have the remaining orders shipped by the end of January. After receiving feedback from a handful of backers that their books had arrived with bent corners, we decided to take some time to bolster our packaging templates to make sure your books arrive in perfect condition. We've tested the new solution and it's working great!
I'm pleased to announce that we have finished processing all remaining orders on the campaign! The last batch of open orders have had their postage purchased and have been delivered to our warehouse for packaging and carrier pick-up. The warehouse has informed us that they are aiming to have all orders packed and in route by the end of next weekend (3/2). If you're still waiting for an order, you should have received a shipping notification by now. If you haven't, please reach out to [email protected] and our team will look into your order directly.
Last Mile Shipping Carrier
I would also like to take a moment to address an area of confusion regarding tracking information provided via BackerKit. Our shipping provider (Global Post) uses what's called a "last mile" shipping service. This means that books ship from our warehouse in Florida via USPS to a shipping hub where the package is documented and flown to your country for final delivery with a local carrier. Since the USPS tracking number is the first to be assigned to the package, that's the number that BackerKit is sending to you with your shipping notification, but once it reaches your country, the tracking number is no longer valid for tracking the last mile travel of your package.
We have access to a Global Post tracking number that you can use to track your order to your door, but we have no way of mass emailing that number to everyone individually. Therefore, if you find yourself waiting multiple weeks after receiving your original shipping notification, and would like to request your tracking link, we would be happy to provide it to you if you reach out to us directly ([email protected]).
Keep in mind that we've seen customs take multiple weeks (1-4) in certain countries to process packages and assign them to local carriers, but so far, we've had an extremely low number of lost packages.

International Shipping Update

Greetings Dark Symmetry Backers!
We sincerely hope you all had a wonderful holiday season and that your 2025 is filled with gaming and good times with your friends. We wanted to pause for a moment and fill you in on how it's going with the final stretch of international order fulfillment.
Since our last update, we've shipped hundreds of orders across the globe and are making great progress on getting through the few remaining orders we have staged in our, now fully operational, warehouse in Florida. As expected, we've encountered some challenges that have slowed our progress, such as the Canadian Postal Workers Strike and rising shipping prices. With many regions in Canada now operational, we've resumed shipping to CA and we're hopeful that with the holidays behind us, shipping prices will begin to normalize throughout the month.
Of 1,809 orders, we have about 200 more to ship. Most of these orders are in harder-to-reach locations (from the US) and are taking us a bit more time and care to pack and find the right carrier for every individual shipment in an effort to keep shipping prices at a sane rate. We appreciate your patience as we work through the final stretch!
Our goal is to ship all remaining orders by the end of January. If you're still waiting for your books, it won't be long! If you're in the US and you have not received your order, please email us at [email protected] so we can look into what's holding up your delivery.
We're so excited to get these books in your hands and want to reiterate our appreciation for the patience of those who are still in waiting.

Quick Fulfillment Update

Hey Backers,
I just wanted to drop you a quick update on where we are at with fulfillment and keep you in the loop with some recent delays we're experiencing getting the rest of your orders out.
Our fulfillment warehouse is located in Florida, which has recently been experiencing severe weather conditions due to Hurricane Helene, and most recently, Milton. Due to storm preparations and evacuation notices throughout the last couple of weeks, our team has been pretty stalled in making progress on getting out the remaining orders. Thankfully none of our inventory has been damaged and our team is safe, but it will likely be a few more days before they will be able to get back to packing boxes and shipping orders, as building repairs take place, power comes back online, and inventory can be re-staged.
Thank you for your continued patience and for sending positive vibes their way as they work to come back online.
What's Left?
As I mentioned in my previous update, we have fulfilled all US-based orders. If you are in the US and still waiting on your order, please get in touch with us at [email protected] so that we can look into your package delivery.
Before the storms we had just sent out the first wave of Canadian orders, but still have the majority of our non-US orders still to ship. When your order ships you will receive a tracking notification, and once we get through the remaining orders, I will post another update here.

Fulfillment Has Begun!

Hey Dark Symmetry Backers,
I'm excited to inform you that we are now fulfilling orders!
Out of 1,174 physical pledges, we've lovingly packed and shipped 707 domestic orders. Many of you have already received your rewards and it makes us so happy to see the photos your sharing on social media. It's been a long journey but seeing all of the books, vinyl, dice sets, booklets, art prints and candles together has really made it all feel worth it. We hope you love what we've made. We couldn't have done it without you!
We just have a couple hundred domestic orders still to get through before we start spending the big bucks (in postage) and begin shipping out all of the international ones. We're hoping to have the remaining 467 orders out by the end of next weekend.
I want to thank you all again for your enduring patience as we've worked so hard to get to this point. This was a big one for us to pull off, but we're so close to the finish line. As much of a challenge as the entire process has been, we can't help being excited about the next one.

Shipping Begins 9/13!

Hello Dark Symmetry Backers!
Chris here with another quick update on fulfillment.
With inventory in-hand and shipping materials on the way, we're stoked to inform you that books will start mailing on September 13th.
Great! But what took you so long?
Upon receiving our inventory from the manufacturer, we found that we were short a few hundred items that we needed to have shipped to our fulfillment center. Those items are now in-hand as of Friday, and in a little over a week, we'll be packing boxes, printing labels, and updating you with tracking information.
I want to thank you all so much for your patience as we sprint the final leg of this race. Getting this book out has be a herculean effort for our tiny team and we sincerely hope that when you rip the tape on the box and hold it in your hand, you feel it was worth the wait.
